Amy, Amy, Amy...she's an outgoing, fun-loving, easy-to-get-along young adult. She loves a good time and will never miss an opportunity to go out and enjoy herself. If a party is going on, she'll be there. If a get-together to happening, she'll be there. The only thing she seems to not be at is class. Sometimes she does get distracted and decides to put school on the backburner. She was never an honors student at made straight A's, as that title went to her older brother Marcus. School never came easy to her, except Math. She does well in Math, but that is the only subject that she seems to really understand. Because of this, she has almost given up hope and has just accepted it as the way it is going to be. She loves to be around other people, and can become mildly depressed when rejected or alone--she can be dependent on people, especially those of the male gender to make her feel better, hence the reason she's usually around them.

She loves hanging out with her boyfriend, Murphy, her brother, Marcus, or her grandmother, Marge. She has weekly lunch with her grandmother and spends time with her often. Marge is an awesome grandmother. She is the 5-time Bingo Champion at the Highland Oaks Senior Center and is the 2007 Bridge Champion. She wears her favorite pink sunglasses whenever she's riding in her blue cadillac. She loves talking with her granddaughter and meeting her friends. She's not shy and doesn't let her age hold her back!

Marcus is home from his tour duty!! I'm sooo happy to have him back home. He's one of my best friends and I was worried about him, so it's good to have him back in the house so we can hang out.

And Oh. My. God. He brought two of his friends over. Hello! The good thing about Marcus being in the marines is that he meets a lot of friends. And then he brings them over to hang out. ;D I was kind of nervous that they would just see me as Marcus' little sister, or some kid. But I think it went well because I've seen both of them again and they're really cool. Very nice and outgoing. I wish my parents and Marcus weren't around because I was so wanting to just flirt with them, but I can't do that with people looking over my shoulder! But they're cool. They're even coming to my birthday party, or parties, rather. My birthday is going to officially kick @ss this year. 18!! I'm legal!!!

I know Marcus can get all...pissy about me seeing his friends, but hello! Don't have such hot friends! I remember when I was a freshman and Marcus was a senior, one of his friends invited me to homecoming and he hated that. Oh well. If they want to hang out with me, I don't mind. In a few weeks I'll be 18, so it doesn't matter what they're age is because I'll be legal. Anyways, we're just hanging out and having a good time. And there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. Just innocent fun.

Holy cow! I'm 18 now!! ;D My birthday kicked some major @ss. It was so fabulous. The pre-parties that lead up to it were awesome. Everyone really enjoyed it and had fun. And then for my actual birthday, we all met at a bar on the boardwalk and just hung out and danced. I loved it! My parents had a little family birthday for me the night before. My mom got me this pretty necklace and my dad got me a gift card to go shopping!! Holler! I love gift cards! I think those are the best presents sometimes. Marcus got me another giftcard and a picture frame that had 2 pictures of us--one of us when we were kids, and one that was taken recently. It was so sweet.

Anyways...birthday celebration was great, blah blah blah.. now.. ;D The after-party was the best part eveeer! So Murphy came to the final birthday celebration and I was really glad to see him. I was just happy he showed up! And all of my friends were telling me how hot he was and was wondering who he was. Anyways, he asked me if I wanted to hang out afterwards, and I definitely wasn't about to turn that down. He drove us back to his place because his parents were out of town and...well.. I didn't think he could look any better, but he can ladies! Wow. It was..amazing. It was definitely the best birthday ever. I don't know if Marcus was too happy. I told him that I was going to hang out with Murphy, but I think he got the point when I didn't come home that night. I had pt my phone on silent and I had like..7 missed calls from him! But anyways..my birthday was amazing and Murphy was amazing. So I don't know what's going to happen now. I guess I'll wait and see if he calls.

Wow, I really need to write in my journal more! I feel like I have no time for anything with school these days. It's nearing the end of the semester (1 more week!) and the professors just love piling things on right at the end. So unfair! But I make time to do the things I like. ;D Like Murphy lol. He got an apartment!!! It's so awesome. Okay, well, it looks like a typical guy's apartment, but it could be totally awesome. It has potential. Of course, I doubt he'd let me take over and get some things to decorate it. Maybe I'll do it in a sneaky way, like bringing over a vase or a plant each time I come lol. A nice rug here and there.. We'll see! He might stop inviting me over though! lol

We're going on a date tonight It's a double date with Anthony and his new girlfriend, Cassie. I haven't met her yet but Anthony seems to really like her. I'm so happy he's found someone! Him and Murphy are best friends and he was in combat with Marcus. So I've naturally gotten to know him over the years. I think Murphy said they met at Johnny Rockets or some food place. How typical of Anthony! Pick a girl up while he eats. I'm surprised she said yes lol ;D Just kidding! Anyways, it's going to be a lot of fun. I like double dates. Maybe we can have a double date with Dewey and her husband. Murphy would have to be on his best behavior though! I don't know how well he can do that lol.
