Prince Alain's Benefit A Success!
Ara Levenworth surprises crowd

The premier benefit that Prince Alain hosted for his charity was a complete success. Our future king should be patting himself on the back for a job well done. Here’s a summary of the night’s events.

While the benefit was full of surprises, the biggest surprises might have come from Alain’s date, Ara Levenworth. For those of you who have had doubts about their relationship and Ara’s ability to be queen, read on! In the time that they have been together, our reporters and photographers have not once seen her dressed nicely, much less in a dress. So you can imagine our surprise, and Alain’s too, we’re sure, when she was escorted by the prince wearing a lovely blue cocktail dress. And she looked stunning! Where has the girl been hiding those legs? Even the prince couldn’t keep his eyes off of her the entire night. We’re guessing that Princess Sasha aided the young lady in preparing for the ball. The curls she had added to her hair framed her face beautifully. It was a huge difference from the usual dingy jeans and t-shirts we're used to seeing her in. She absolutely looked and acted the part. It was a different side of her than we're used to. We’re hoping we see this side of Ara more often! And so are others! In fact, after seeing the pictures of the benefit and hearing the reports, representatives from Christian Dior, Versace, Donna Karan, and Badgley Miscka have all stated that they are sending dresses to Ara in hopes that she will wear their design for the Royal Christmas Celebration that will occur later this year and also for the Royal New Years Eve Celebration. Welcome to the fashion world, Miss Levenworth!

But that’s not the only surprise our little future queen had in store for us! This time it came from a little piece of jewelry she wore around her neck. Now, she can claim whatever she wants, but let’s put this straight, folks—that was an engagement ring around her neck! We did some research using the picture we had taken and the ring has a recent design. We overheard her telling another paper that it belonged to her mother, but who is she kidding? Her addresses on record show that she grew up in a rundown apartment before moving to a small suburban neighborhood. And that ring belonged to her mother? Doubtful. That looked like it could buy that casino the benefit was being held in! Plus, with the ring having a recent design, there’s no way it belonged to her mother and we have never seen her wearing it before. So despite what she says, we think it’s an engagement ring from Alain—a promise for what the future holds. Analysts have told us that she thinks highly of him because she wore it around her neck, a sign that she keeps him close to her heart. There has not been any official word from the family about an engagement or if the two are simply waiting until after the election to announce the happy news.

During dinner, Alain surprised her with his piano playing. Our talented prince composed two beautiful songs for Ara all by himself. With tears gleaming from her eyes, she stood and clapped for her beau as he returned to the table. Always the shy one, she refrained from giving him a hug in front of the large crowd, but she looked especially happy with the surprise. The two shared a beautifully romantic dance together after dinner, holding each other close. They acted as if they were the only ones in the room! Guests at the benefit tell us that Alain seemed so happy and they are pleased with the turn he has taken since meeting Ara. They said his charity will surely benefit from his new attitude towards life and towards others. Alain had another surprise, but this time for his sister Jackie. In a move that will surely benefit him in the campaign, along with Vanni D’Alassio, Alain shared with the princess the naming of an orphanage that will be opening next year in Romania in her honor. She was brought to tears by the generosity. Some sources are saying that this proves Alain’s support of Jackie’s goals and that he will incorporate her humanitarian efforts into his plans when he becomes king. By doing this, it’s possible to get some of the voters who were torn between the two siblings. Knowing that Alain will still support Jackie’s ventures and ensure that the efforts will continue will bring those borderline voters over to his side. Nicely played! Rumors are starting that the princess’ next project is the Ivory Coast in Africa. We overheard her speaking with a guest at the table about her interest. We’re sure Alain will have a plan for that as well!

After the benefit, our sources tell us that Alain and Ara immediately boarded the family’s private plane. After being so coy with reporters, we’re guessing they were heading to their romantic destination they had planned. Sources are telling us that the two might have returned to New Zealand or might have gone to Australia or an island in the Mediterranean. After we confirm with our sources, we’ll have photographers in place! And, as always, we’ll bring you the latest news of the royal family! Stay tuned!

Ara Levenworth in Brawl with Belgian Princesses!
Sends two to the hospital, Effect on election unknown

Wow! So remember that last issue when we said Ara truly looked and acted like the part of a future queen? We spoke too soon!

We don’t know what the hell happened, but Ara went off the deep end! All right, so we do know what happened—we’re the Enquirer! We always have our sources! And it turns out that every news company in the world has a copy of the security tape. Views on YouTube have already hit the 500,000 mark! And it was just put up this morning! The video of Ara Levenworth slugging the hell out of Princesses Audrey and Charlotte of Belgium isn’t one to miss. We have it loaded on our website!

So here’s how it all went down on the tape:

Alain and Ara were in the Louis Vitton store in Australia (romantic getaway location!) at the jewelry section. It didn’t look like the Prince had purchased anything, but he hardly had the time! Then here comes the princesses of Belgium who had entered the store only minutes earlier. Audrey and Alain are seen in a tight embrace while Ara looks on. Does anyone else see where this is leading?? So the four talk and it looks like the conversation gets a little heated. We talked to some employees and customers who were in the store and it seems like the Belgium heiresses were dogging on Ara and her background, claiming she wouldn’t cut it as queen and Alain could basically do better. Well, Alain tried to pull Ara away, but she wasn’t having any of that. Girl knows how to stand up for herself. So while Alain urged Ara to ignore them, she pulled away (with a look to kill on her face, in our opinion) and slugged both of the princesses in the face! (Enquirer Note: Anyone else wish this happened outside in the rain? Just sayin’!) She was then seen pushed against a display cabinet by a security guard, being handcuffed and lead out of the store.

So while this is good and all for a normal person to do, we have to ask—is it proper actions of a queen? Here’s what we’ve heard from people on the streets and comments on our website:

“The was completely uncalled for. It doesn’t matter what the topic of conversation was, she needed to have leave and just ignore them. A queen is someone who is supposed to be the image of a lady. She’s the highest woman in the country! We need someone who isn’t going to act out of anger. She’d probably start World War 3 with that temper”

“Leave Ara alone! She stood up for herself just like anyone else would in the same situation. Just because you’re in the spotlight doesn’t mean you’re not a normal human being. Alain obviously wasn’t going to stand up for her, so she did it herself. More power to her! Those [girls] probably deserved it anyway. Look how they were coming on to Alain!”

“Wow! Maybe Alain was better alone or with another royal who knows how to act when in public.”

“Isn’t it better to have a queen who will stand up for herself than one who cares more about her dog than she does about the people of France? Finally we have someone who can take care of herself and doesn’t care what the public things. Ara is a role model for women in France! Don’t let people who are ranked above you talk you down! They don’t have the right just because they’re princesses!”

“I hope Alain rethinks his future with Ara. We can’t have a loose cannon in the palace! Next thing we know she’ll be slugging the head of another country just because he looked at her the wrong way!”

So it looks like the public is divided on the issue. Some are saying it’s not a big deal, but many of you are saying that being associated with Ara could possibly harm Alain’s chances with the election. A month ago, we took a poll and found that 30% of people thought Ara was prepared to be queen. After the benefit party, we took another poll and found that 50% thought Ara was prepared. We took a quick poll after the story broke and it was back down to 35%. Hopefully the PR staff at the palace can do some major damage control or Alain’s going to have to do something!

Here at the Enquirer, we’re torn about the situation. We love Alain’s relationship with Ara. They’re perfect for each other! And true, Ara’s actions might have been a little uncalled for, but come on…who didn’t like seeing those two get what’s coming to them? But if it does start hurting Alain’s chances, what’s the guy to do? Breaking up with Ara would anger the Aralain fans out there, and finding another royal to date would just drop his chances of ever being king. That was obvious during the Princess Audrey fiasco. Prince Alain: Ara is my Joan of Arc-adia

Happy Holidays to our readers! We have a few things to catch up on since we went on our vacation. Hey, even we get a vacation, people! But we have a few things to catch up on with our favorite royal family.

First up is Prince Alain. After the brawl in Australia, Alain and Ara did some much-needed damage control. Luckily, they chose yours truly to do this damage control! They did an interview with one of our reporters and all went well. Miss Levenworth explained that she was in the heat of the moment. The security tape did not have audio, of course, and now that we know what the conversation was, we feel that perhaps we judged too quickly. Apparently the B!tchin Belgian Princesses were completely dogging on Ara and her family. They claimed that Ara did not deserve to be dating Alain nor was she deserving of the attention she is getting and the possibility of being the next queen of France. That’s right, people. Our little Ara is undeserving of Alain’s affection simply because her parents passed away when she was a child. What the heck?! Upon hearing this, we were pretty disgusted. So Ara got a few points back in our book.

And then the prince sent us a letter just clearing up anything we might have missed. Here’s an excerpt of the letter (which can be viewed in full in our Letters to the Editor section):

Let us call to memory our 15th-century French heroine, the Maid of Orleans: the blessed Joan of Arc. A young woman who led the French army to several victories during the Hundred Years' War. Did she make history because she was a proper lady? Because she endured the slings and arrows of her enemies? Because she spoke not a word in defense? No, she did none of these things. We remember her today because she defied tradition.

Yep. Ara Levenworth is the modern day Joan of Arc, according to Alain. We don’t know about that. We’ll leave that up to him. It’s a stretch. We guess they were both just defending their honor. It was a pretty smooth comparison. But in response to Alain’s letter, yes, Ara Levenworth is human. Yes, she is a member of the Royal Security Personnel team. Some would question if they gives her the right to start a fight, but knowing what we know now about the situation, have people changed their view on Ara’s actions? We went to the streets! Here’s what we heard:

“If someone’s going to be talking about my family, they’re going to have to deal with the consequences. We didn’t know that they were questioning Alain’s relationship with Ara, so now it seems like Princess Audrey and Princess Charlotte were just jealous. They deserved what they got.”

“I don’t see how Ara’s parents or lack thereof has any bearing on her right to be in a relationship with Alain and her right to be Queen if Alain is elected. No one has a perfect life and I think that’s a refreshing change to see. The Royal Family has a reputation for being perfect and no one can relate to that. Now we can. Maybe this will bring great things to France.”

“I still think Ara should have shown some restraint. Yes, she’s trained to respond on instinct, but restraint is necessary. I think the fault is on both sides. They shouldn’t have been talking about her parents and Ara shouldn’t have resorted to violence.”


Well, we’re choosing to ignore the last comment. Who cares what they think anyway? Overall, people are saying that Ara has a right to defend her honor. They still would have liked to see Alain step up to the plate and defend his true love, but it looks like people might be lightning up on Ara, which is good for Alain. At the end of the article, with her eyes on Alain, full of love, Ara told us that the French people should realize that the D’Aubigne family is accepting of everyone, no matter what their background might be. They don’t judge or question, but accept people with open arms. The two shared a romantic moment together, a certain understanding passing between them. We haven’t received the recent ratings quite yet, but we’re estimating that Ara’s popularity rating has gone up and Alain’s poll ratings have increased as well.

So what do the French Sweethearts get each other for Christmas? We caught up with Ara while she was on a morning jog. And while she was reluctant, as always, to answer any questions we have, persistence pays off! She finally talked with us during her cool down walk. We asked her what Alain bought her for a present. And who knew Ara had such a sense of humor?? A fully equipped workout room with weapons? We appreciate the security personnel jokes, but give us something we can work with! Finally, she admitted that Alain gave her a Volvo for Christmas. And we saw it when she got to the parking lot. Apparently Alain knew that Ara enjoyed the Volvo the most, so, unselfish as always, Alain gave it to her. She seemed to really appreciate it. We asked Ara what she got Alain and she said a leather jacket and a personal gift. A personal gift? Come on, Ara! But that’s all she would say. We asked her about the engagement ring that she wore at the benefit, but she wouldn’t comment on it. We also asked her about a dress for New Year’s, but she wouldn’t comment on that either. We’re hoping it’s something sexy though, and we’re sure Alain’s feeling the same way! Perhaps that’s what the personal gift was? Or something a little skimpier than a dress? Who knows!

The other royal we want to talk about it Jackie. Who would know that she was so close to becoming Queen of France? She sure isn’t acting like it. Of course she did an interview with the Arcadia Times, but we’re thinking they got the inside job on that. Anyone else think it’s odd that the writer of the article was related to Vanni D’Alassio? Come on, Jackie! We’ve heard some comments that she might be more sympathetic towards countries around the world than she is to France. People have asked themselves if that’s who they want running the country. While we appreciate her humanitarian efforts, people want to be sure that the future leader of this country will be focused on helping France as well as other countries. Has Jackie really shown that though? Perhaps she needs to address what exactly she wants to bring to France as its next leader. Keep up the humanitarian efforts though, because people love that about her, but we want to know what she’s going to bring to this country. How is she going to help people afford their homes and afford to put food on their tables? We have no doubt that she will keep the French people close at heart, we would just like to hear a little more from her! You’re in the middle of an election, Jacqueline!

The next Royal Family event is the ringing in of 2009. We’ll be there, of course, reporting on the event and asking the members of the royal family their new year’s resolutions. We’ll end this article with some resolutions we would suggest for them!

Ten days from Election Day!
Alain and Ara heat up January cold spell while he prepares

Well, folks, we are ten days away from history! For the first time, the French citizens will have the opportunity to choose who the next leader of the country will be! Out of the four D’Aubigne children, France will choose who they want to lead our country. After finding out that Prince Alain was adopted, the royal family and the council were unsure of how to go on naming Alain as the heir apparent, as tradition calls for the first-born son, the blood relative, to be the heir apparent. But, after coming to his senses, and trying to escape embarrassment over unjust imprisonment of minorities, King Frederic decided to leave the decision to the people. Smart choice! Now the French have pretty much narrowed the choices down to Prince Alain and his older sister, Princess Jacqueline. The polls still show Alain with a lead, 49 to Jacqueline’s 47. Four percent of those polled are still undecided. Hopefully they’ll make their choice soon!

We (finally) were able to catch up with Princess Jacqueline and she agreed to answer some questions for us. We were surprised too, don't worry. First and foremost, we had to ask about potential wedding bells in the air for 2009. She told us that there were currently no plans for a wedding for any of the D’Aubigne children. We’ll see how much that stands up after the elections, right? We then posed some hypothetical situations to her. When asked about what she thought would happen if Alain won the election, she said that she felt her brother would do a magnificent job as king. We’re not sure if she was being sarcastic though. There’s intense rivalry going on here, and she’s saying he would make a great king?! Come on, Jackie! No one is a saint here (except maybe Ara, as St. Joan of Arc). Gloves should be coming off! We only have ten days! But she wouldn’t budge from her statement. So then we asked if she should be taking a council position under her brother’s reign. “If Alain asked me to take a position, I would be more than willing.” How nice. Though, during the interview, she did throw in the fact that if Alain won, he’d have to wait until their father passed away or gave up the throne because he was incapable, that it might be years before we see a change in power. Theeere’s that snootiness and rivalry we were looking for! Alain’s so eager to become king, but it could be decades before he takes over the throne and she’s quick to point that out. Way to ruin your brother’s big day.

Now onto the good, juicy stuff! Holy cow, did everyone see the PeopleFrance’s Best Of 2008 issue recently? Our very own Prince Alain and his longtime girlfriend, Ara Levenworth, were named Hottest Couple of 2008. And those pictures! Steamy! Even though it was January, the heat between those two made it seem like July! Pictured in the yard of the royal palace, Ara wore a short, black, sexy dress that hugged every curve perfectly. She looked fantastic in those photos! The picture of Alain holding Ara in his arms, her legs wrapped around him, was one of our favorites, as well as the one of her leaning behind him as he’s sitting. The chemistry between them is amazing, and even our readers think so. One reader said, “You can really see that they love each other very much. They’re so close they won’t let anything come between them.” The pictures truly show a side of the couple that we rarely get a chance to see. Ara’s shyness has hindered any public displays of affection, but this photo shoot was hot and we hope to see more of it! And apparently so do the public! Ratings of the photos were at 99%! We just hope Ara kept that dress for Alain’s sake. Privately, of course.

The following day, Ara was invited to a fashion show by international designer, James. She looked amazing! Oddly enough, Alain was not in attendance though, nor was he backstage waiting for her. We were immediately worried that the couple had broken up! But rest assure, they are still together. We caught up with Ara after the show and she told us Alain had some things to go over before the election and was unable to make it. She would be seeing him the following day. Any fashion shows in the future? She said no, that it was just a one-time thing that she did for James because he asked. She told us fashion shows were not her forte, but we beg to differ. Alain’s a lucky man! Any New Year resolutions? Wedding hopes? She said no, but we’re still waiting on the final word. We haven’t seen her with the engagement ring necklace lately, but we’re not giving up hope! We asked her if she was ready to maintain their title to become France’s Hottest Couple of 2009 and she said Alain was eager to maintain that status. With those photo shoot pictures, we have no doubt that they’re already in the running!

In other royal news, Prince Philippe, who was the heir apparent for all of five seconds, celebrated his 19th birthday on January 8. Our insiders tell us he had a big bash at the palace with hundreds of guests, including Miss Bianca Tagliatti, his rumored gal pal, and Princess Jacqueline’s former lover, the Prince of Sweden. The British Prince Harry was also in attendance with his girlfriend. They partied until all hours of the evening, apparently. Asked if he was still endorsing his sister, Jacqueline, as queen, he answered that he was!

Friends: Ara and Alain planning for a spring wedding

After a nailbiting election, with 54% of the popular vote, Prince Alain D'Aubigne finally has a reason to celebrate his hard work. Election results came in late this evening after final tallies were made. It was a close race! Princess Jacqueline was a favorite among women voters, but Alain won over the hearts of the French people. It'll be a crazy atmosphere in the palace these next few days as Alain celebrates his win.

We were able to talk with a few voters as they left the polls today. One woman explained to us that this is a defining moment in our country's history. Either way, we would be forgoing tradition. We would either pick a non-blood relative to take over the throne or bypass the two sons of the king and queen and elect the eldest daughter. Many voters that we spoke with agreed. As for the results, many people were thrilled. After the final tallies were in, celebrations were happening throughout the streets of Auvernha, even from Princess Jacqueline supporters.

"I voted for Jacqueline, but I think Alain would be a great king. I can't wait until he's able to take over the throne. I hope that he is able to jump in right away and help out," said one partier.

Jacqueline's campaign manager sent out a letter to the presses immediately following the results:
Princess Jacqueline is thankful for her supporters in this process. She is very happy to see her brother win the election though and she knows he will make the people of France very proud. Alain is one of the most loyal citizens in this country and will see to it that France competes with other global leaders. She stands by her brother one hundred percent and will be present at the celebrations and inauguration. Jacqueline hopes that she will be able to serve the people of France in other capacities because the French people are always close to her heart."

Sources close to the family tell us that Alain will be helping out with council decisions and policies immediately. It seems that King Frederic is eager to get him more involved and we've heard that he's even willing to change out some of the council positions if Alain feels that need to be replaced. We're told that it's even possible that King Frederic voted for Alain! That rumor hasn't been confirmed, but anything's possible with this family! After naming Philippe has his heir, we're told that King Frederic was overcome with guilt, unable to get out of bed for days after making it public. Perhaps this is the way he wants to make things better.

Another person who is thrilled to see Alain win is none other than his girlfriend, Ara Levenworth. Friends of the couple tell us that this was the make or break moment for the two. Now that the election process is over, they can focus on the matter that is most important to Ara: their future. Friends tell us that Ara's been itching to get married and it's possible that the engagement ring she wore at the benefit was supposed to be a sign to Alain, telling him to get with the program. She was being patient while he was campaigning, but now that it's over the two can start planning a wedding that will be the wedding of the century. Ara wants "a beautiful spring wedding, located outside in the backyard of the palace where the recent photoshoot was held." We're told that Ara feels that Switzerland would be the best location for a honeymoon because it's the place "she fell in love with him all over again." Designers have already sent dresses for Ara to choose for the inauguration and the ball that will follow. We're told they are also designing possible wedding gowns. So it looks like Alain is pretty much getting lucky in all areas these days!

Alain adjusting well, preparing for V-Day
Friends: Jacqueline is fed up!!

Valentine's Day is coming up and things are heating up in the royal palace, and not just in the romance department. We'll start off with the current relationship of Prince Alain and Ara though. France's Hottest Couple are still celebrating Alain's victory over his sister to be the next king of France. Despite Alain's increase in involvement, we're told that the couple is still going strong. Sources tell us that the two have a romantic Valentine's Day planned and that it also be the time when Alain finally proposes! Friends of the couple tell us now that the election is over, Alain has more time to concentrate on the future of their relationship. He has been shopping for custom made rings and trying to keep it under wraps. We're told that Ara is expecting it though and is thrilled about the opportunity. One friend, who wants to remind anonymous, tells us that he and Ara's other friends have been expecting this for months and is glad the time has finally come. He says that Ara needs this engagement and that while she might not show much enthusiasm, behind closed doors, she's absolutely thrilled about the idea of being the next queen of France. We're even told that Ara could choose the caterer in the coming weeks. He tells us that she's leaning towards Maria's, an upscale Italian restuarant. The local vendors and anxiously awaiting the opportunity to be involved in the first royal wedding since the king's marriage to Queen Anezka. We're not sure if it could rival that, but who knows!

Now onto some juicy gossip that has come to the attention of our magazine. We have heard from sources that Princess Jacqueline is fed up with Alain's victory in the elections. Behind the friendly, sisterly facade, Jacqueline is still steaming about the loss in the election, which sources tell us, she feels she should have won by a landslide. Walking around the palace and hearing her father boast about Alain's future and his involvement in the policies of the country is taking its toll. Friends tell us that she has been packing her stuff and she is just days from closing on a house is an private gated community on the outskirts of the city. Unable to deal with Alain or her father, Jacqueline feels that the only way to seek solace is to remove herself from the palace. We're told she hasn't withdrawn the nomination for the foreign affairs council position, but this could add some tension between the siblings. We contacted a realtor for the property and she confirms that the princess is close to closing, but would not indulge us with the exact details. The property is listed as a 3 bedroom/2 bath with a spacious kitchen and fenced in yard. Friends tell us that she chose a place with more room because she hopes that Vanni will want to come and stay or even move in with her. Could this possibly be her way of trying to outdo Alain? By moving in with Vanni, according to sources, Jackie is trying to beat Alain in the relationship department, even with the possibility of beating him to the altar. After already being beat by her younger brother in winning France's hearts, she is refusing to be beat by him again. But we're told that if Jackie marries before Alain, it could downplay the importance of Alain's marriage to Ara, which is something Alain is not willing to compromise on. And neither is Ara! Forget about Alain vs. Philippe! It's Alain vs. Jackie and Ara vs. Vanni now! The gloves are coming off because Alain has nothing to lose now -- he's already won the election! Could we see Ara pull another Australia fiasco on Vanni? We're taking bets on who would win -- vote on our website!
