Farooq is very much like Puck in Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. He always exudes a playful spirit, is lighthearted, and loves to share a good laugh with friends. He never seems to grasp the seriousness of any matter, even though he's a member of the clandestine terrorist group, Saif-Al-Din. He could be apart of a bombing in the morning, and a few hours later be laughing merrily without a care in the world. He's also more than mischievious. He doesn't always obey Aqil's orders, and as a result, tends to get himself (as well as Karam) in lots of trouble. Good with words and exemplary on his feet, though, he always seems to weasel his way out of a dilemma. He's a pickpocket, a jester, and an out of work camel jockey, but even when push comes to shove, he always has a smile on his face.
