Malakai was a former agent for faucon du soir, the secret central intelligence of France, but felt the Israeli State was continously being neglected in their agenda, and so branched off to create his own.. "agency" (aka terrorist group) called Sicarii. One of Sicarii's chief concerns was Saudi Arabia's banning Jews from entering the country. In response to this blatant display of ostracism, Sicarii long ago decided the government of Saudi Arabia would have to be destroyed and recreated, as to prevent the rise of anti-semitism in the Middle East. However, the inner workings of Sicarii would have to be an inside job. Since no faithful moslem would even think of launching attacks against the sultan and crown prince, Malakai decided he'd use a different platform. Youth. Knowing he could play off the zeal of teeangers and easily disillusion them, he played up the wrongs of the Saudi government, accused it of oppressing the poor, and rallied many a youth into supporting his regime. It would give birth to the violent terrorist group now known as Saif-Al-Din. Today, Malakai serves as the commanding chief of Saif-Al-Din. He gives the group all its assignments. He pays them when they complete a mission, and likewise punishes them when they don't. He's apathetic to their needs for the most part, and only cares for the realization of his own goals. In his mind, any of the boys in the regime can easily be replaced. Malakai's greedy, something of a sleaze, and not in the least a mentoring type.
