Owen is a charge of the state, and has been since we was three years old. He arrived at St. Nick's after his mother was placed in a rehabilitation facility. It was supposed to be temporary, but his mother did not return for him. He jumped around foster homes from age 5 to 8, never finding a home he could stay in. He returned to St. Nick's at the age of 8 and has been staying there ever since. He understands that he might never get adopted and will remain at St. Nick's until he is 18, when he will need to leave. He tries to have a postive outlook on life, but finds it hard at times. He is very friendly to others and always does what he is asked, never trying to cause trouble. He enjoys playing basketball and soccer and is ready to be adopted and to find a good home to live in permanently.
