Theodore "Teddy" Shelton
Teddy is six years old, and a recent acquisition of the State. Prior to his current time with St. Nick's, he was in the custody of his mother -- Elaine Shelton, who was known to frequent the homes of drug lords and pimps. According to police investigations, Teddy was often left home alone for days at a time, with no food in the fridge and no electricity to keep the darkness away. Questions still abound around possible physical abuse, but these are just assumptions, and Tommy has nothing but nice things to say about his mother. Even if she abandoned him, and doesn't plan to resume her role as mother. You wouldn't ever guess Teddy had such a rough past,though. He's very friendly, bright, playful, and energetic. His favorite hobby is perfoming magic tricks, as he hopes to be a professional magician one day ("the most famous in all the entire world!)
