I am one step closer to being queen of France! I knew Alain and I totally hit it off when we went there for his birthday bash. I heard that him and Ara were on the rocks and I hardly saw him with her when I was there. I think he realized that he deserved better. And he does. He's not that bad of a person to have to settle with a common bodyguard. I'm so in. He called me yesterday and invited me to Thanksgiving with him and his sister in New Zealand. A private Thanksgiving dinner with him! This is huge. Thanksgiving is a time for family, so to be invited to share the holiday with him, especially a private invitation...I'm so close! Mother is going to be so proud. I would be a great queen, I think. I need to visit France more and show him how interested I am, and also let the people of France know that I'm interested. They're not just voting for a king, they're voting for their future queen as well! I have to make a good impression.

So much for being one stop closer to being queen! I'm so upset. My life is practically over. So everything was going fine. The flight over was fantastic, the place we were staying was top of the line with some fabulous views, and my room was just perfect. And then Alain proceeds to inform me that he has renounced his campaign for the throne!! Just like that! Who does that? He was about to be king of France, and he just throws it away! I was about to be Queen of France! Hello! How selfish of him. So, of course, I was upset. I don't know what to do. I tried to pursuade him to rethink his decision, but he says he already told parliment. I don't know why they're keeping it such a secret. The papers are still showing poll numbers and no one has released any information about him giving up.
He practically just gave the throne to Jackie. She totally doesn't deserve it! Especially with that guy she's dating. He's not even a royal! I don't even know who he is. I just don't understand! Maybe he'll change his mind soon. I was born to be a queen!
