Dinner with the Molony family went well. Rhett and Tiernan brought their wives and they seem like wonderful people. I wanted to have their wives over because it gives me a better indication of the type of people they are. You can tell a lot about people by the company they keep, and especially in their significant other and how they treat them and get along with them. It also gives me a chance to strengthen relationships with them. In past experiences, if the wife is happy with a family friend, it makes everything run a little smoother. After this dinner though, I think I can trust the Molony family. They seem like respectable people. Tiernan has a lot of love for his wife, I can tell, and that means he's an honest man and can be trusted when it comes to alliances and relationships with other people. He's willing to put in the effort it takes to make it work. Rhett and Winnie are the couple that have a friendly relationship on top of their marriage. They are best friends, I think, and that's good to have as well. He treats her well and that means he also has respect for relationships with other families. He's loyal and also practical. He's smart.
The next move on my agenda is the D'Alassio family. I like them and I respect them. From what I hear and from my records, they're good people. I question their alliance with the Tagliatti family though. I don't trust the Tagliatti family and never will. So why is the D'Alassio family forming alliances with a family I'm sure they know they shouldn't trust? It makes me wonder about the D'Alassio family if they can be trusted. If it's for strategic purposes, why? What moved them to go to the Tagliatti family out of everyone? I'll have to get more information on that.
I have asked my cousin Mickey to help me out with getting information on both the D'Alassio family and Montoya family, who is new to the region. I know my Uncle Alfonso probably wouldn't approve, but Mickey's smart. And I'd like to have some family members here involved with it. I might call up Tobias and see what he's been up to. See if he has any free time. Maybe Carmine too. It doesn't hurt to ask. I just have to play my cards right. With Mickey, it's getting a dog and helping him out with the financial side of this rescue business. With Tobias, perhaps it's helping him finance a new studio. We'll see what happens and if they're interested at all.
