Yeimy Santiago-Montoya Age: 18 Birthdate: Height: 5'5" Weight: 115 lbs Eye color: Dark Brown Hair color: Black Race: Colombian Occupation: Student/Street Pharmacy Friends: Lisette Enemies: Many
Yeimy can come off as a shy girl who is unsure of herself when someone first meets her. However, she is just quiet and prefers to watch people rather be the center of attention. She is part of the Montoya crime family and she likes her family. She is involved with the DROGAS ((haha)) part of the family business, but not to the extent Lisette is. She's not a seller and prefers to keep the books, making sure the supply is in stock, separating the drogas before distribution and keeping money---the business and financial sides of things. Though she likes to stay out of the limelight and would prefer to leave that to Lisette, she is extremely loyal to her family and would do anything they asked of her.
She does not have many friends because they usually find out what the Montoya family does. But now that they are in Auvernha, she hopes to meet people and actually keep her personal life seperate than her family business life. She knows that will be a challenge though. She doesn't enjoy going out to parties by herself and will usually only go if Lisette makes her. She likes Lisette and she's probably her favorite sibling out of all the Montoya children Aww.

I'm unsure of what to think! Cayetano confided in me something that was very difficult for him to say. He told me that over the past few months, he has struggled with...well, who he likes. I mean his "sexual identity," or that's how he put it, I think. He's been talking to his therapist about it and how to approach it. I was so surprised! I never even expected that. I don't know why, but I guess I just..I don't know. He told me last night. I'm sure it was hard to tell me because he told Dad, AJ, and Tristan the other night and of course they weren't happy. Or at least Dad and AJ weren't. He said Tristan was okay about it. I'm glad he told me though. And...yeah, I'mstill surprised by it, but I guess I'd rather him be true to himself and be happy than him living a lie. He even likes someone and said I could meet him. I'm nervous about that, but I think it will be okay.
I talked to Tristan this morning about it. He said it still weirds him out to know that Cayetano is gay and likes guys instead of girls. He asked me if I thought maybe it really was just a phase, but I told him I didn't think so. He didn't seem upset about it, just...confused about it, I guess. I told him that he should be supportive of Tano because he's not getting support from AJ and Dad and that could make things worse if we're completely unsupportive. As long as he doesn't act like AJ. What a jerk AJ is, forcing Cayetano to go to a strip club. How disgusting. I don't think Tristan will go that far though. I think he's just trying to please both Cayetano and AJ and Dad. He doesn't want to choose a side. And I guess he shouldn't have to.
In other news though, I'm getting a cat. I went to the animal shelter and the guy there was so nice and helpful. He showed me a lot of cats, but I saw one that looked just like Jangles and I fell in love. I think having a cat here will help me adjust better because I'll have something to look forward to each day and something to do. School isn't going that well. I don't like school in the first place, but not having any friends around is harder. I have no motivation to go to school. The guy at the animal shelter is in the same grade as me though and even offered to help me out. I don't know if I'll take him up on that offer yet or not but maybe he can introduce me to some people. As long as they're not crazy people...

((2017))
How awful was Thanksgiving? I mean, it's supposed to be about family and being thankful for all of the things in our lives, and it just turned into one big mess. AJ and Dad are just unbelievable. They're so stuck in their ways! Cayetano invited Ethan over, and yes, that might have been risky, but you should think they would be respectful and at least tolerate it while Ethan was here. But no. They had to make a scene in front of Ethan. Him and Cayetano ended up leaving before dinner. And Lisette had invited the Zach boy she's been seeing.
This just was not the Thanksgiving I had expected for our first Thanksgiving here in Auvernha. I wanted it to be like it was back in Colombia. It just makes me more homesick. Nothing is going right.
